Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection with a burglary in-progress.
On August 4, at approximately 8:56 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 300 block of West 9th Street, in reference to a burglary in-progress. A short time later, officers located a subject matching the description of the burglary suspect in the area of West 10th and North Market Streets. Police made contact with 30-year-old Rachine Thomas, who was taken into custody without incident.
Thomas has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $1,500 unsecured bail.
