The Village of New Lenox advises that Veterans Parkway will be closed to thru traffic today, August 9, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. due to an event in the Village Commons. Ladies Night Out will be taking place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and details can be found at newlenox.net/events. The suggested alternate route is Route 30 to Nelson to Haven.
