Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult.
Deputies from East Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station responded to the 3300 block of Folsom Street, in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles, regarding a gunshot victim call for service.
The incident occurred on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at approximately 12:08 PM.
When deputies arrived on scene, they located a male adult suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there is no additional information.

The incident occurred on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 12:08 p.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
