* Flash Flood Warning for... East Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 730 PM MST.
* At 504 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the Tucson Estates area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Multiple rain gauges have reported 1.5 inches in the last 45 minutes. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tucson, Drexel Heights, Pascua Pueblo Yaqui Reservation, San Xavier Community, Valencia West, Tucson Mountain Park and Tucson Estates. This includes Route 86 between mile markers 163 and 170. This includes the following streams and drainages... Santa Cruz River and West Branch Santa Cruz River.
