INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

VICTIM: Male Adult (Identification pending notification to family)
On Thursday, August 8, 2024, at approximately 8:31 PM, Pomona Police Officers responded to the area of Humane Way and Roselawn St. regarding a vehicle vs. pedestrian traffic collision. Responding officers arrived on scene and located the pedestrian laying in the roadway of Humane Way suffering from severe injuries. First responders performed life saving measures and immediately transported the pedestrian to a local hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the involved vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
