South Plainfield, as a result of Tropical Storm Debby - The NWS has issued a Tornado Watch until 2pm today, a Flood Watch through late tonight & a Wind Advisory until 8pm this evening. Please monitor future weather forecasts for any additional watches or warning.

Preparation:

• Pay attention to emergency information and alerts.
• Know your risks & have a plan.  
• De-clutter drains and gutters, bring in or secure outside furniture.
• Do not walk, swim or drive through flood waters. Turn Around. Don’t Drown!
• Avoid any downed wires as they could be energized.
• Check on neighbors, seniors adults, or those with special needs to see if you can be of assistance.
• STAY SAFE!
