Flood Warning until 03:30PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following counties, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Juniata, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder and York.

* WHEN...Until 330 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 119 PM EDT, emergency management reported ongoing flooding in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Harrisburg, Carlisle, Lower Allen, Hanover, Colonial Park, Weigelstown, Sunbury, Progress, Mechanicsburg, Camp Hill, Gettysburg, New Cumberland, Parkville, Linglestown, Enola, Steelton, Selinsgrove, Lemoyne, Northumberland and Hampton. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
