Flood Warning until 11:30AM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast New Mexico, including the following counties, in east central New Mexico, central Quay. In northeast New Mexico, southeastern Harding and southeastern San Miguel.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 828 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2.5 and 5.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Heavy rainfall has ended, but ponding of water on roadways and slow-moving water will likely persist in the area over the next several hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Logan, Conchas, Conchas Dam, Conchas Lake State Park, Ute Lake State Park and Bell Ranch. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
