On August 13, 2024 and August 15, 2024, the City of Asbury Park will be striping (painting) the existing bicycle lanes along Sunset Avenue between Memorial Drive and Bridge Street green for increased visibility.  Striping is going to take place in front of driveways, through intersections, and at the ends of each block.

To facilitate this painting, the following parking restrictions will be put into effect:

• No Parking on the north side of Sunset Avenue between Memorial Drive and Bridge Street on Tuesday August 13, 2024 between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.
   
• No Parking on the south side of Sunset Avenue between Memorial Drive and Bridge Street on Thursday August 15, 2024 between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Additionally, all residents with driveways please be aware that paint will require up to sixty minutes to dry. Please refrain from driving over the paint for sixty minutes to avoid the smearing of paint.
