Flood Advisory until 07:00PM Monday
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of South Central Arizona, including the following county, Pima.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry washes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 458 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms on the southeast side of Tucson. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. An automated rain gauge at on Wilmot Road south of Interstate 10 recorded 0.94 inches of rain. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Santa Cruz River. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Tucson, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, San Xavier Community, Summit and Tucson International Airport. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
