LA 437 (Lee Road) Closure for Emergency Maintenance 
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) will be conducting emergency maintenance on LA 437 (Lee Road) between Wildwood Lane and Mulberry Grove Lane. This area is north of River Road and south of Playmakers Road.
There will be a full closure of LA 437 (Lee Road) from Saturday, August 17, at 6:00 AM until Sunday, August 18, at 8:00 PM. This closure may be opened back up sooner if the work is completed ahead of time.
Road Closure:
- When: Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 6:00 AM to Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 8:00 PM
- Where: LA 437 (Lee Road) northbound and southbound between Wildwood Lane and Mulberry Grove Lane
- Details: The road will be completely closed to through traffic during this time.
Detour: Motorists and emergency vehicles should use LA 40 and LA 25 as detour routes.
Please plan your travel accordingly. While this project is outside the city limits of Covington, we wanted to inform you of this potential traffic disruption.
