LOCATION: 16251 D Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Robert David Rose, 43-year-old Transient of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Monday, August 12, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 16200 block of D Street for a male brandishing a weapon at an employee inside Subway.
The male, later identified as Robert David Rose, entered Subway located at 16251 D street, walked over to the fountain drink station, and filled up a personal cup. When Rose was asked to stop using the fountain drink station, he lifted his shirt and brandished a large knife tucked inside his waistband at the employee.
Rose was located on southbound Interstate 15 about a mile north of the Mojave Drive exit, and detained. A large knife matching the description was located with Rose’s belongings.
Robert David Rose was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto.
