Wilmington Police arrest man during in-progress burglary: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man during an in-progress burglary.
On August 12 at approximately 3:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 300 block of South Union Street in reference to an in-progress burglary that was taking place. Officers arrived to find the suspect, 44-year-old Russell White, who was being held by members of the public and who was found to be in possession of property stolen from the residence.
White was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (First Degree)
- Possession of Burglary Tools
- Theft Under $1,500
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,000
