Deputy Jordan Cox charged 30-year-old Christopher Forney of Marion with Possession of Methamphetamine. Forney received a $3,000 secured bond.
Deputy Cox also charged 29-year-old Amanda Boone with Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance and Possession of Methamphetamine. Boone received no bond because she was out on bond for other unrelated crimes.
On August 4th, Deputy Cox was patrolling the Fairview Road area and stopped Forney’s vehicle for a traffic violation. Forney did not have a valid driver's license and a search of the vehicle and Boone who was the passenger turned up methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
