UPDATE: Missing 9-year-old girl safely located

The Detective Bureau responded and took over this investigation last night. This morning, the missing 9-year-old, Blanca Rafael Martinez, was safely found and returned home.

The Santa Maria Police Department is asking for the public's assistance with locating a missing 9-year-old, Blanca Rafael Martinez. Blanca went missing from the area of 700 S Western Ave at about 5:00pm today and family reported that she had yet to return home. She is described as a Hispanic female juvenile, about 3'2" in height, 50lbs in weight, with black hair and black-colored eyes, last seen wearing a purple and blue dress.
