The Thousand Oaks Police Department (TOPD) in collaboration with the Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency (COSCA) and Newbury Park Bike Shop is hosting a community bicycle safety event to provide information to the public on electric bicycles and electric motorcycles. The TOPD and COSCA have received numerous questions and concerns from the community regarding the rules and laws of E-bikes and E-motorcycles on both the city streets and COSCA maintained trails. Please join us in front of Newbury Park Bike Shop on Saturday, 08/24/24 from 10 AM to 3 PM to have your questions answered and meet with TOPD Deputies, COSCA Rangers and Newbury Park Bike Shop staff. There will be a display of TOPD Police E-bicycles along with additional E-bicycles. This informal event is free and open to the public. |
