Contractors for the City of Valdez will be conducting preventative maintenance and testing of the City's Outdoor Warning Siren System, today (8-16-2024) between 9:00am and 12:00pm in-town. Expect to hear the same Westminster Chimes and messaging as is routinely heard during the weekly systems tests each Wednesday afternoon. Multiple tests during this time may occur if system adjustments are being made. Thank you for your patience and support as the city continues ongoing efforts to keep you aware and informed during emergencies.
