Two Felons Found Passed Out in a Stolen Vehicle and in Possession of a Firearm and Machete

DATE/TIME: August 15, 2024, at approximately 9:01 a.m

INCIDENT: PC 29800(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC30305(A)(1) - Felon in Possessiom of Ammunition, PC 496d(A) - Possession of a Stolen Vehicle

LOCATION: 100 block of Marina Drive, Needles, CA

SUSPECT(S): Travis Clark, Age 32, Resident of Bullhead City, AZ
                        Anthony Spinharney, Age 43, Resident of Bullhead City, AZ

VICTIM(S): Confidential


SUMMARY: On Thursday, August 15, 2024, at approximately 9:01 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service near the 100 block of Marina Drive.  The reporting party advised there were two male subjects passed out in the parking lot.  When deputies arrived on scene, they contacted Travis Clark and Anthony Spinharney.  A records check was conducted on the vehicle, and it was found to be stolen out of Arizona.  During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a gun, ammunition, and a machete.  Both Clark and Spinharney are felons and are prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.

Clark and Spinharney were consequently arrested on the above charges and were transported to the High Desert Detention Center for booking.  Clark and Spinharney remain in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
