* At 559 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Succasunna, or 10 miles west of Morristown, moving north at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
* Locations impacted include... Newton, Hopatcong, Mount Arlington, Franklin, Mendham, Stanhope, Netcong, Ogdensburg, Chester, Branchville, Andover, Lake Mohawk, Succasunna, Succasunna-Kenvil, Long Valley, Pellettown, Budd Lake, and Bernardsville. This includes Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 23 and 32.
