Veterans Parkway (Village Commons) closed today from 12pm-9pm for Back to School Bash 
The Village of New Lenox advises that Veterans Parkway will be closed to thru traffic today, August 19, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. due to an event in the Village Commons. The NLSD 122 PTO's Back to School Bash will be taking place from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The suggested alternate route is Route 30 to Nelson to Haven.
