Beaufort County Sheriff's Office continues to search for missing and endangered 60-year-old Stanley Kotowski.
Stanley Kotowski has been missing from South Sea Pines Drive area since Friday, August 16, around 10:30 A.M. He was last seen wearing a dark in color, possibly gray, Coors Light t-shirt, dark in color shorts, possibly dark blue or black, and no shoes. Kotowski did not take any personal items with him such as wallet or phone. He is approximately six feet tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes.
Since Kotowski was reported missing the Sheriff's Office has continued search efforts. BCSO, along with other agencies and Sea Pines Security, have been using multiple resources to search for Kotowski to include K9s, helicopters, drones, boats, and foot patrol.
Increased Law Enforcement and Fire Department presence may be observed in the southern Beaufort County area conducting searches through residential and wooded areas. If you see increased law enforcement activity in your area, please do not be alarmed and please do not interfere with deputies as they search.
Thank you to all the concerned citizens who have aided in the search by sharing or submitting tips and information. Unfortunately, no new leads have been successful in locating Kotowski. He was entered into national databases and information has been sent out to agencies statewide.
