INCIDENT: PC 459-Burglary
LOCATION: 31000 block of Colton Avenue, Mentone
SUSPECT(S): Edward Dykstra, 21-year-old Male, Resident of Mentone
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, August 11, 2024, deputies responded to Redlands East Valley High School (REV) reference a report of a burglary. The suspect stole several electronics from the school worth over $3,000. Through further investigation, the suspect was identified as Edward Dykstra.
On Tuesday, August 21, 2024, Central Station Detectives and deputies assigned to the Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant at Dykstra's residence. Stolen property from REV High School and an unregistered firearm were located. Edward Dykstra was also located at the residence and arrested for PC 459-Burglary.
