SUBJECT: Fatal Vehicle/Bicycle Collision 
LOCATION: Arch Street & Broadway, Redwood City
DATE/TIME: August 16, 2024, 6:34 PM
On Friday August 16, 2024 at approximately 6:34 PM, Redwood City Police Officers were dispatched to the scene of a traffic accident involving a vehicle and a bicyclist. The bicyclist was found to be unconscious. The Redwood City Fire Department and AMR medics responded to the scene. The bicyclist was immediately transported to Stanford Hospital. The bicyclist later succumbed to injuries sustained as a result of the collision and is deceased.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has been cooperative. There was no indication the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. At this moment, the collision is still under investigation.
