One Injured in Motorcycle V Truck Crash 
Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that on August 22, 2024, at approximately 1844 Hours, his Deputies responded to a Motorcycle V Truck crash, in the area of Sunset Blvd, north of Wayne St., Porter Twp., Cass County, Michigan.
The initial investigation showed that the motorcycle Driven by James Tran (36yo of Bristol IN) was traveling northbound on Sunset Blvd., when the road started to curve, Tran hit some loose gravel; witch caused him to lose control of the motorcycle. The Motorcycle keep traveling northbound while on its side and crashed into a pickup truck driven by Andrew White (35yo of Jones MI) who was travelling southbound on Sunset Blvd. Tran was transported by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital for injuries sustained in this crash.
Alcohol and/or drugs are not believed to be a factor in the crash.
Assisting agencies on scene were SEPSA Ambulance, and Porter Fire
The crash remains under investigation.
