COMMUNITY NOTICE, Water Meter Testing 
The City of Sonora will be having TRIUN and Southern Meter test select meters around the city from August 26-30th. The testing will have a short, less than 15 minutes on average interruption in water service for those meters that are tested. Testers will notify the owner if they are home. There is nothing the owner needs to do and no requirement for them to be home. If the meter is tested, air may be in the pipes and/or a small amount of rust or deposits. This is not harmful, however running the water for a few seconds will clear the lines.
