* WHERE...Portions of northwest Iowa, southwest Minnesota, and east central South Dakota.

* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, from 1 PM this afternoon to 8 PM CDT this evening. For the second Heat Advisory, from 1 PM to 8 PM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* AFFECTED AREAS: DICKINSON ... MURRAY ... NOBLES ... JACKSON ... PIPESTONE ... ROCK ... MOODY

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
