Shots Fired at Masonic Center
On 8/25/24 at 2:47 am officers were dispatched to the intersection of E Milwaukee St and N Sumac Dr in reference to a shots fired complaint. The reporting person heard multiple sets of rounds being fired approximately 15 minutes prior to calling dispatch.
Officers located multiple windows with bullet holes at the Masonic Center 2322 W Milwaukee St. No one was injured, and bullets were recovered that struck the Masonic Temple. No arrests have been made at this time.
The reporting person saw a male near the intersection of Sumac and Milwaukee described as a male, unknown race, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. The subject was wearing a dark long-sleeved top and dark-colored pants.
