We want to address the ongoing investigation in our area and provide some important updates.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has confirmed that there is no bomb scare and no danger to the public. While the investigation is still in progress, there is no immediate threat to anyone in the area.

The investigation stems from a traffic stop at Big Whiskey’s in Lebanon, where a tank leaking an unknown substance was discovered. The Fort Leonard Wood Fire Department and the MSHP Bomb Squad are responding to assess the situation further.

We will keep you informed with updates as we receive more information. Again, there is no need for alarm.
