Attention residents of Highway 421 in the Columbia Union district: Pender County Utilities staff will be assisting you with completing income survey forms essential for the Community Development Block Grant application due on September 30, 2024. This grant is crucial for the design and installation of the water main, which will start at the Sampson County line and extend to Highway 11 and later on up to Malpass Corner. To ensure we can secure the necessary funding, we need everyone who has participated in our previous meetings to attend and fill out the survey. Our staff will be available at the Penderlea School Auditorium on Monday, August 26, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM to assist you. If you are interested in obtaining access to public water services, you must complete the income survey, as it is required for state government funding. Please make sure to attend and encourage your neighbors to do the same. Your participation is key to the success of this project. We look forward to seeing you there.
