Columbia Water Boil Water Advisory
 
To Columbia Water Customers located at 300 Block of Coldstream Dr, Tee Ct, Flamingo Dr, Meridian Ct, Lincoln Inn Rd, Meredith Dr, and The Legends Apartments at Lake Murray:
Columbia Water laboratory staff advises the water customers of 300 Block of Coldstream Dr, Tee Ct, Flamingo Dr, Meridian Ct, Lincoln Inn Rd, Meredith Dr, and The Legends Apartments at Lake Murray, located in Lexington County, to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking.  Also, any residents near the affected area who may have experienced a loss of water and/or pressure, or may be experiencing discolored water, are advised to vigorously boil their water for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking.
Columbia Water has experienced a 8” Water Line Break. This could possibly result in bacterial contamination of the water on 300 Block of Coldstream Dr, Tee Ct, Flamingo Dr, Meridian Ct, Lincoln Inn Rd, Meredith Dr, and The Legends Apartments at Lake Murray. Water customers should continue to boil their water vigorously for at least one (1) full minute prior to drinking or cooking until otherwise notified by Columbia Water laboratory staff.  In addition, any ice made from water that has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
Columbia Water staff is presently working to correct the problem.
