Flood Advisory until 04:45PM

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central New Mexico, including the following county, central Quay.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 241 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Quay. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Most flood related deaths occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges, dips, or low water crossings.
