INCIDENT: Armed Barricaded Suspect

LOCATION: 4700 block of Dozier Street in East Los Angeles
SUSPECT: Male Adult
UNIT: Special Enforcement Bureau
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) personnel are responding to assist East Los Angeles Station with an armed barricaded suspect. The incident was reported Monday, August 26, 2024 at approximately 3:45 p.m., on the 4700 block of Dozier Street in the city of East Los Angeles.
SEB personnel will assume tactical command and Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT) is attempting to make contact with the suspect to bring this to a peaceful conclusion.
The surrounding homes have been evacuated for the safety of the residents.
