1. Battery on an Officer (2113) West Fremont Street and Madison Street, Civic District
Officers investigated a family disturbance and attempted to arrest the suspect for battery. The suspect attempted to walk away, and when they tried to stop her, she kicked one of the arresting officers. The suspect was into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: 17-year-old female for domestic violence and battery on an officer.
2. Weapon Arrest (2148) 900 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. During the stop, officers observed a firearm in plain view. Both occupants were arrested. ARRESTED: Carlos Martinez,18, and Javon Mathis, 18, for weapons charges.
