NEW TRASH, RECYCLE AND BULK PICK-UP SCHEDULES AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2024 
A new Solid Waste and Recycling contract was awarded at the Special Borough Council meeting, held on Tuesday, August 20th at 5:30 p.m. The new contract will go into effect as of September 1, 2024
Below are the details of the new pick-up schedule:
TRASH COLLECTION WILL TAKE PLACE
EVERY TUESDAY IN
*ALL ZONES*
Please have your Trash can at your curbside by Monday evening
SEPTEMBER TRASH PICK-UP DATES

Tuesday, September 3rd
Friday, September 6th
Tuesday, September 10th
Friday, September 13th
Tuesday, September 17th
Tuesday, September 24th
Twice-a-week trash pick up
(Tuesdays and Fridays)
will remain on the schedule in 2025 from
May 16 through September 15

RECYCLE PICK-UP
RECYCLING COLLECTION WILL TAKE PLACE EVERY OTHER WEDNESDAY IN
*ALL ZONES*
The new recycle schedule will begin on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2024
Please have your Recycle can at your curbside by Tuesday evening
SEPTEMBER RECYCLING PICK-UP DATES
Wednesday, September 4th
Wednesday, September 18th
A CONTAINER WILL BE PLACED AT THE DPW LOCATION
1 ALLEN STREET
FOR CARDBOARD ONLY
Please remove any packing materials, styrofoam, etc., when dropping off your cardboard.
Container will be available for cardboard drop-off
as of Monday, September 16th.
You may still use your blue recycle can for cardboard every other week as well

BULK PICK-UP
Bulk items will be picked up, at your curbside, once per quarter, on the second Monday of months March, June, September and November.
REMAINING DATES FOR BULK PICK-UP IN 2024
Monday, September 9th
and
Tuesday, November 12th
(due to Veterans Day holiday)
The 2025 dates are as follows:
MARCH 10, 2025 * JUNE 9, 2025 * SEPTEMBER 8, 2025 * NOVEMBER 10, 2025
