The Fairfax Police Department is receiving reports of scam attempts where callers are using Fairfax police officer names and identifying information to demand money under the threat of arrest.

Members of the Fairfax Police Department will never call you and demand money in exchange for clearing up an arrest warrant.  If you are getting these calls from individuals claiming to be an officer from Fairfax PD and using our names and department numbers, this is likely a scam.  Please contact the Fairfax Police Department ASAP and file a police report.  For better assurance, our front lobby is open 24/7/365, come see us in person.
