Firearms and Narcotics Found when Deputies Serve Search Warrant at a Home in Green Valley Lake

INCIDENT: Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Stolen Property
LOCATION: 32000 Block of Canyon Dr., Green Valley Lake
SUSPECT(S): Alfred Dean Roskovich, 40-year-old resident of Green Valley Lake; and Maribel Marquez, 35-year-old resident of Green Valley Lake.
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Twin Peaks Station, responded to a call for service in the 30000 block of Green Valley Lake Road in the community of Green Valley Lake. The reporting party advised there was an argument at the location with a male named Alfred Dean Roskovich.
Deputies contacted Roskovich during a traffic stop and found him in possession of a high-capacity ammunition magazine along with black gun powder. Roskovich was found to be a convicted felon prohibited from owning or possessing firearms or ammunition. Through investigation, deputies learned Roskovich was living at a residence in the 32000 block of Canyon Drive, Green Valley Lake with Maribel Marquez. A search warrant was served at the Canyon Drive address and associated locations where deputies seized several firearms including a confirmed stolen rifle, suspected methamphetamine, suspected psychedelic mushrooms, and recently stolen property from businesses near the Lake Arrowhead Village.
Roskovich was arrested for PC 29800 – Felon in Possession of a Firearm, PC 30305 – Illegal Possession of Ammunition, PC 487 – Grand Theft, PC 459 – Burglary, and PC 496 – Possession of Stolen Property. He was booked at the Central Detention Center in lieu of $150,000.00 bail.
Marquez was arrested for PC 496(d) – Possession of a Stolen Firearm and PC 11350 – Possession of Illegal Narcotics. She was booked at the Central Detention Center in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.
