Scams continue to plague our area.  The “Jail” scam seems to be starting up again.  Remember that neither the Police, nor the Jail, will ever contact a relative of an arrested person requesting bail money.  The amount that is requested is usually substantial, over $1,000.00 and they want the money in either cash or gift cards.  ***THIS IS A SCAM***  Do not give these people any personal information whatsoever!  If you have questions, please call 859-292-3622  – Sgt.
