INCIDENT: PC 273.5(A) - Inflict Corporal Injury/Felony Spousal Abuse
LOCATION: 100 Block of Chestnut Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Christopher Wallingford, 45-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at approximately 7:41 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a call for service near the 100 block of Chestnut Street regarding a domestic disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered suspect Christopher Wallingford had assaulted the victim during an argument at their home.
Christopher Wallingford was consequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking on the above mentioned charges. Wallingford remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
