Flash Flood Warning until 06:30PM

FFWRNK The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for... East Central Greenbrier County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 630 PM EDT.

* At 237 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen along the Greenbrier and Pocahontas County line. Additional rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. This rainfall, and additional heavy rain falling over the North Fork Anthony Creek is expected to cause flash flooding downstream, including the Neola area. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Neola... This includes the following streams and drainages... Coles Run, Meadow Creek, Middle Fork Anthonys Creek, North Fork Anthony Creek, Anthony Creek, Twomile Run and Sugar Run.
