Flood Advisory until 05:30PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast West Virginia, including the following county, Greenbrier.

* WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 332 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen since 300pm. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Sulphur Lick Run, Rock Lick Run, Laurel Branch, Pond Lick Run, Fleming Run, Dry Creek, Howard Creek, Tygers Creek, Tuckahoe Run and Jericho Draft. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... White Sulphur Springs... Greenbrier State Forest... Roaring Mountain Summit... - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
