Norton Shores is starting their annual hydrant flushing Sept. 3rd. Some discoloration of the water may occur; no health concerns exists. 
The City of Norton Shores will begin its annual hydrant flushing program on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. This will last approximately four (4) weeks. Residents are advised that some discoloration of the water could be experienced during this time; however, no health problems exists.
