I hope everyone had a relaxing summer which was filled with rejuvenation and time spent with family & friends. As we begin to celebrate Labor Day, summer’s unofficial end, it’s important to take a moment to reflect on the meaning of this national holiday.
 
Labor Day honors the contribution of all our nation’s workers and recognizes their achievements and their contribution to the success and prosperity of our nation. Labor Day is a national celebration of the pride and spirit of all Americans who have worked hard to improve the lives of not only their own families, but also our great communities and country.
 
It’s a perfect day to honor the American spirit of hard work, the commitment that founded our country and that same devotion which protects our laws, lives, and freedoms today. The world runs on your contributions, and you all deserve respect, recognition and a day to relax.
 
We here in Waldwick have highly skilled and dedicated employees, we are grateful for their hard work, dedication, and for their desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents and in our community.
