Washington Twp Hall is Open for any Electrical Needs, Restroom Use or Cooling Center due to recent Power Outage from Transformer Outage 
Dear Residents,
A DTE transformer has blown up, causing a massive power outage across the township. DTE is working around the clock to restore service and has provided an estimated timeframe of 10-15 hours for electricity to be fully restored. They are currently working to divert some of the grid to a nearby grid.
In the meantime, Washington Township Hall is open to all residents for any electrical needs, restroom use, or as a cooling center. If you need to charge medical devices, cell phones, or laptops, or if you just need a place to stay cool, please stop by. I will keep the township open hourly as needed over night based on use of residents.

I want to thank all the first responders for their immediate response to mitigate this and for the DTE crews working overnight.
