* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of west central Virginia, including the following county, Alleghany VA and southeast West Virginia, including the following county, Greenbrier.
* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 423 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen since 330pm. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Hardy Run, Jericho Draft, Greenbrier River, Howard Creek, Boulder Run, Dunlap Creek, Fleming Run, Beech Run, Cove Creek and Dry Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Alleghany...
