Pedestrian Motor Vehicle Crash on U.S. Route 30 Results in Fatality 
During the early morning hours on September 1, 2024, officers from the Absecon Police Department responded to a fatal pedestrian motor vehicle crash on U.S. Route 30 (Absecon Boulevard). The incident occurred just before 3:30 AM, west of the Delilah Road overpass. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The crash is currently under investigation by our agency’s Traffic Safety Unit in cooperation with the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. We are urging any individuals who witnessed the crash or have information related to the incident to come forward.
