* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Callahan, Coke, Concho, Irion, Nolan, Runnels, Taylor and Tom Green.
* WHEN...Until 245 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1133 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The heaviest rainfall has been near Mertzon with around 2 inches. Other areas are seeing 1/2 to 1 inch. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Abilene, San Angelo, Ballinger, Clyde, Winters, Mertzon, Christoval, Maverick, Merkel, Tye, Bronte, Miles, Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Lawn, Tennyson, Norton, Orient, Rowena and Fort Chadbourne. - This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 266 and 304. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... Intersections along Buttonwillow Parkway, Intersections along Sammons Street, Howard and Webster, I-20 Frontage Roads west of Clyde, Butternut Underpass, Curry Lane from Clack Street to Catclaw Drive, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306, College Hills and Millbrook, Jackson From Knickerbocker to South Bryant and Texas Avenue at Arnold Boulevard. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
