Flood Advisory until 08:30AM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following counties, Uvalde and Zavala.

* WHEN...Until 830 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 516 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Spring Branch, Little Indian Creek, Sand Ridge Creek, Windmill Creek, East Elm Creek, Elm Creek, Nolton Creek, Dinner Creek, Sabinal River, Nueces River, Indian Creek, Liveoak Creek, Little Muela Creek, Gato Creek, Chaparrosa Creek, Olmos Creek, Turkey Creek, Mustang Creek, Live Oak Creek, Cooks Slough, Camp Lake Slough, Blanco Creek, Rancheros Creek, Muela Creek, Frio River, Leona River, Wood Slough, West Nueces River, Maverick Creek, Salt Creek and Taylor Slough. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
