On September 3, 2024, at approximately 0754 hours, Pocatello Police Officers responded to 1935 S. 5th Ave. Mh B10 for the report of a No Contact Order violation. It was discovered, that Derek A. Partlowe Jr. (34) barricaded himself inside of the residence. Officers determined the threat level as high, and a threat matrix was completed resulting in The Immediate Response Unit (IRU) and Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT) being activated. Crisis Negotiators made contact with Partlowe Jr. and persuaded him to surrender, resulting in him exiting the residence where he was taken into custody without incident. Partlowe Jr. was placed under arrest for two counts of felony violation of a No Contact Order. No further information will be released at this time as this incident is still under investigation.
