PEABODY ROAD CLOSED FROM WATER WORKS ROAD TO VANDEN ROAD IN BOTH DIRECTIONS DUE TO AN ACCIDENT AND FIRE. NO EVACUATIONS AT THIS TIME.
Peabody Road is currently closed due to an accident that led to a small fire between Water Works and Vanden Road. Fairfield Fire Department is on scene. There are no evacuations at this time.
Fairfield Fire is working a wildland fire in the 5000 block of Peabody Rd. Power lines were impacted and have been turned off by PG&E causing widespread outages in the area. No evacuation warnings or orders have been issued at this time. Avoid the area and use alternate traffic routes.
