American Red Cross will be at our Open House on Saturday, September 7th conducting a blood drive from 8:00am-2:00pm, and there are still open time slots!
There are two types of donations you can make: Power Red and blood.
A Power red donation collects the red cells but returns most of the plasma and platelets to the donor. These donors must meet specific eligibility requirements and have type A Negative, B Negative, or O blood.
A blood donation [most common] collects approximately a pint of “whole blood” and any blood type is welcome.
